Unique film works by Jay Rosenblatt and Javier Téllez which are not on view in the Substitute Teacher exhibition are shown at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Plus, works by Jenny Perlin and Walid Raad will also be shown.
Rosenblatt’s Human Remains is a haunting documentary featuring intimate portraits of the 20th-century’s most reviled dictators; Téllez’s A Meditation Upon a Broomstick includes amateur actors/patients from the Jonathan Swift Clinic in Dublin as they communicate with themselves using a blackboard and chalk.
