The Westside Arts District (WAD) is partnering with the West End WE Tour to bring you an art-filled Saturday west of downtown Atlanta. Ten Westside Arts District galleries will be open for viewing for the 3rd Saturday Art Walk while over 23 members of the West End Arts community at four venues open their doors to the public for The Second Annual West End Art and Studio Tour. Events such as artist talks, performances, demonstrations and a closing party take place from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. All participating venues are free during Head West on May 15 although donations are welcome. Free parking is also available at each venue.
Participants
WAD participating venues include Astolfi Art, Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, Bobbe Gillis Gallery, Emily Amy Gallery, Get This! Gallery, Kiang Gallery, Octane Coffee Bar, SALTWORKS, Sandler Hudson Gallery, and Tanner Hill Gallery.
WE Tour participating venues include The Metropolitan, Hammonds House Museum and Resource Center, The B Complex, and The Wren’s Nest.

Westside Arts District 3rd Saturday Art Walk
- All WAD galleries are open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (unless otherwise noted at www.wadatlanta.org)
- Mini-Lecture Series: Final Exam at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center 11 a.m. to noon
- Performance by Andrew Willingham, a young composer and graduate student at Georgia Tech,featuring the flute, the computer, an amplifier, and speakers at noon and 3 p.m. at Emily Amy Gallery
- Artist talk with Prema Murthy about her solo exhibition “Breaking the Grid” at 1pm at SALTWORKS.
Second Annual West End Art and Studio Tour
- Studio/Venue Tours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Museum and Studio Tours take place at all four locations simultaneously
- Atlanta Printmakers Studio Print Big! Steamroller Event at The Metropolitan: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Closing Party: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The B Complex located at 1272 Murphy Ave, SW Atlanta, Georgia 30310
