Documentary by Jean Bach
In August of 1958, photographer Art Kane assembled 57 of the greatest jazz musicians of all time in front of a Harlem brownstone for a legendary photo shoot. Interviews, home movies, and rare archival performances are featured. Dr. Fred Taylor, Ethnomusicologist, Georgia State University, will lead a discussion following the screening.
